Opening Weekend

The Ottawa Christmas Market kicks off on November 25th at 5:30 pm. You’ll be one of the first to experience the market and you’ll also be able to join the official tree-lighting ceremony. The Christmas tree at Lansdowne is one of my favourite Christmas trees in Ottawa! Everyone gathers around the tree! It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Dance The Night Away at a Silent Disco

This is such a unique experience you can enjoy at this year’s Ottawa Christmas market! Everyone is wearing headphones to tune into the live DJ. As soon as you take your headphones off, everything is silent. The Silent Disco will take place on Dec. 10th from 10 pm to 12 am. Next to the Ottawa Christmas Market, you’ll find the Landsdowne Rink in front of Aberdeen Pavillion. I recommend going at an off time because it’s sure to be busy. If you’re looking for more spots to skate check out my Ottawa skating guide here.
