One of my favourite stops was the first beach, this stunning white sand beach pictured below. The water near the sand was crystal clear, and I loved how the sand curved through the water. Keep walking and there’s a rope swing at the end. It was my first time trying a rope swing. My group was full of naturals but I kept trying and eventually got it, maybe with the help of some cheers from my group. I could have easily spent the full day at this beach alone, but there was more waiting along the river.
There were times when we had the river to ourselves. We spotted an eagle pretty soon after we embarked. Brandon kept the tour flexible, allowing us to stop when we pleased at beaches along the way. You can also get out and float along the raft, which I would definitely recommend. The water is so refreshin,g and it was fun to just float along.
Is It Truly A Lazy Rafting Tour?
It’s a true lazy rafting tour. The raft is brought to the starting location and picked up from the end location for you. There might be a few locations your guide will ask you to paddle, but it was super chill and easy. People are taking photos or enjoying a beer, so there are always a few taking a break and a few helping guide the way. How fun that you can enjoy a cold one as you glide along the river. They bring a cooler on board to keep all your drinks nice and cold. You can purchase drinks before you embark.
Next Stop, BBQ and Axe-Throwing
After a few hours on the water, we were greeted with a delicious BBQ with all the toppings! They can also accommodate dietary restrictions. The food, the view, and the company made for the perfect afternoon break. After we all recharged, we tried our luck at axe-throwing. It turns out Brandon is an axe-throwing champ, and he taught us lots of tips from two-handed to one-handed throws.
